The owner and head photographer, Dave Schwartz, has spent the last seventeen years operating a very successful photography studio that specializes in real estate, commercial, wedding, and portrait images.

His love for landscape and architectural photography started around the DC metropolitan area where he grew up visiting museums. After viewing original Ansel Adams darkroom prints on a high school field trip, he knew his dream of being a professional photographer would be realized. David’s work has graced the pages of Professional Photographer magazine, Architectural Digest, Robb Report, as well as many others.

He is a Tidewater local who graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University with his wife who has been teaching English in Hampton Roads for the last 30 years. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, Eva, who is attending college to study something artistic like her dad.

Dave feels strongly about not wanting to be just a transaction to his clients. Many of his agents have been working with him for a long time and consider his business integral to the successful marketing of their listings. He also feels extremely grateful to the folks at Impressive Home Staging for their continued support and confidence in photographing all their stages. In addition, he keeps his real estate license active to ensure he stays on top of current market trends, while speaking intelligently to his clients about their across the board real estate needs.
